SYNOPSIS

Frank has spent years convinced something is wrong with his mind — faces that glitch mid-sentence, people only he can see, a wall covered in his own handwriting: images that don't exist.

When a photograph surfaces tying him to a train catastrophe from his childhood, Frank learns the truth: he was wired, as a boy, into a hidden neural network called RHYMOGRAPH — a system that links human minds together, one slot at a time. Disconnect a slot without replacing it, and the person on the other end dies. As Frank and the strangers bound to him trace the network back to the people who built it, staying in sync stops being a choice.
